Our professional civilian staff consists of non-certified members who fill numerous key roles and are an important component of the success of the Sheriff’s Office. Records and other civilian support staff are distributed throughout the Sheriff’s Office. Patrol and Detective records are managed by the Civilian Operations Supervisor and Intelligence Analyst/Records Supervisor. The Sheriff and Undersheriff are supported by the Sheriff’s Executive Assistant and the Financial Manager.
Patrol Records Technicians enter thousands of records each year and are governed by strict standards to maintain federal compliance. Our Civil Records Technicians are the core of the support services division that handles civil document service and extraditions. NCIC Records Technicians are responsible for the accurate entry and removal of warrants, stolen property, and other lawful orders. Our Equipment Technician manages a large inventory of gear and uniforms to include vehicle assignment to our deputies.
Detective Records Technician and Intelligence Analyst are assigned to enter and manage records related to the detective division. Fleet Mechanics maintain and repair a fleet of 170 plus vehicles each year to ensure deputies and civilians are operating safe vehicles. Information Services are tasked with overseeing the health and maintenance of the Sheriff’s Office computer systems.
Our Public Information Officer is responsible for managing our social media platforms and media releases. This position also works closely with deputies and certified staff to produce GRIT, Shop with your Cop, and other core public outreach programs as assigned by the Sheriff.
The Sex Offender Registration Technician assists the assigned deputy to track and manage those individuals mandated by state statute to maintain current registration with the local sheriff.
The Evidence and Property division is made up of a Supervisor and Technicians who oversee intake and release of evidence and property. Our Crime Scene Investigator assists deputies and detectives in processing and documenting crime scenes.
