The mission of San Juan County is to provide responsible public services through the direction of the County Commission while striving to be professional, courteous, and committed to improving the quality of life for the citizens it serves.

San Juan County strives to combine the vision of the Commission, citizens, and employees into a forward-thinking community committed to the best use of natural resources and serving the best interest of our citizens. We strive to service our diverse populace and create a productive atmosphere where families and businesses can grow together in a clean and safe environment.
