If you are a qualified registered San Juan County voter, you are entitled to vote by absentee ballot. Requests for an absentee ballot application may be made by contacting the County Clerk's Office at 505-334-9471 or 1-833-955-8683.  You can also do one of the following:

All ballots must be returned to the Clerk's Office by 7:00 PM on election day.

United States citizens who are living outside the U.S. for work, school or other reasons, may register to vote or request an absentee ballot with a Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).

Military personnel may register to voter or request an absentee ballot with a Federal Post Card Application (FPCA).  Military spouses and dependents are considered to be of the same category of absentee voter as military members and generally should follow the same rules.

All FPCA forms must include a Transmission Cover Sheet from the Federal Voting Assistance Program.
